Some of you may be aware, that SunnaForum.com has been offline. This is because the Admin of YaNabi.com (Tahir Riaz) has made false DMCA claims against the website.

The reason for these false DMCA claims is simply because users of the website have exposed the blasphemous comments by the users and staff of YaNabi.com - the Admin (who claims to be an advocator of freedom of speech) could not stomach this and has attempted to try and take the website down.

As fellow Sunni brothers, we support the SunnaForum team's fight against Tahir Riaz and we encourage everyone to do what they can to support them. This post has been made to raise awareness about what has happened.

You may also have noticed, that their threats have spread to the SunniPort website too.

We, the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah must stand united against this fitna and their attempts to censor websites propagating the Aqaai'd of the Ahlus Sunnah.

May Allah help SunnaForum and all other websites which are having to fight the lies and scaremongering tactics of Tahir Riaz and co.

To ensure that your uploaded file/submitted article is approved quickly, we recommend you adhere to the following guidelines:

• Ensure that the file/article is assigned to the correct category. If the category does not exist, contact us before hand so we may create the category if we believe it to be suitable.
• Speeches uploaded must be of authentic scholars from the Ahl as-Sunnah, anything otherwise will be rejected. Decisions to reject files/articles are final and cannot be contested.
• When uploading a speech/naat ensure that it does not exist already, and in the case of speeches, make sure that it is a full speech and not just snippets.

Alhamdulillah after more than a week down, we have completed our latest round of upgrades to TheSunniWay website. We received many complaints with the old site being hard to navigate, so we took this feedback into account and in sha Allah navigation has been simplified.

One of the new updates to the Audio section is that it now allows you to play audio files directly on the website without having to download the file onto your PC. Also, an easier to use search function has been added which will also yield better results, in sha Allah.

Some questions that you may have:

What happened to the Forums?

Unfortunately, the forums didn't really take off as we had expected and thus we thought it is best we concentrate on other areas of the site. There are plenty of online Ahlus Sunnah forums that you can stil join. There is a new guestbook feature which you can use to leave comments, and you can still comment on articles as well as submitting files. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Will my old account still work?

You should be able to use your old account details. If you encounter any problems, please contact us.

Some files I uploaded are missing?

We are still working on transferring all the files from the old site. Although the majority of the files have been uploaded, we are still working on transferring a lot of the user uploaded files. We request that you be patient whilst we work on this, JazakAllah

Will old links to the site still work?

Old links to the website will not work, however, we are implementing a feature so that old/broken links will automatically redirect the new ones.

There is currently a huge back log of questions which is being worked through. Once your question is answered, it will be emailed to you. In the meanwhile, we have disabled access to asking new questions whilst the backlog gets cleared.
